Ktunaxa Kinbasket Child and Family Service Society (KKCFSS) is responsible for providing social work (child and family) services to Aboriginal Families in the Cranbrook, Kimberley, Creston and Invermere areas.
KKCFSS is delegated under the Child and Family Community Service Act to provide child and family services that require a social work assessment, such as:
- Referral to prevention and support services within and outside KKCFSS
- Respite support
- Daycare referral
- Care agreements
- Child protection services
