KTUNAXA/KINBASKET CHILD & FAMILY SERVICES SOCIETY MISSION STATEMENT:
The Ktunaxa Kinbasket Child & Family Services Society is committed to working collaboratively with Aboriginal families and communities of the Ktunaxa Traditional Territory to increase their ability to fulfill their responsibilities for caring for their children in a culturally relevant and holistic manner.

Grandparents/Knowledge Holders Group – Grandparenting Future Leaders:
- Awaken & Uphold the Teachings of our Ancestors’ Strength, Perseverance, Commitment, Dedication, Responsibility
- Passing on Family History, Connections, Genealogy, Language, Traditions, Storytelling. Traditional Parenting, Roles and Responsibilities
Missing & Murdered Women, Girls & 2SLGBTQQIA (Two-Spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, intersex and asexual):
- Address Violence Against Women – Reclaiming Power and Place
- Sharing traditional knowledge around Gender Roles
Land-Based & Water Survival Skills Programs:
- Learning and Transferring Skills & Knowledge Through Language, Plant Usage, Culture, Tradition, Oral History
